A.M. GORKY INSTITUTE OF WORLD LITERATURE
OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES
The name of the journal is not from Lef's “literature of fact”, but from the article “Literary Fact” by Yuri Tynyanov, in which he wrote:
“Definitions of literature, operating with its ‘main’ features, run into a living literary fact. While to give a firm definition of literature is becoming more and more difficult, any contemporary will point his finger at what a literary fact is. He will say that one thing does not belong to literature, representing a fact of poet's everyday or personal life, but the other thing, on the contrary, is precisely a literary fact.”
All publications in Literary fact are free of charge. Authors don’t pay for reviewing, editing, translating, proof-reading, layout design. Literary fact doesn’t pay author’s fee / royalties. The Agreement for the free-of-charge publication is signed between the author and the publisher.
